I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT 45443) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC 2148) who has worked in the mental health field for over twenty years. As a bilingual Chicana therapist, I specialize in supporting first-generation adults and parents navigating intergenerational trauma, divorce, co-parenting stress, and anxiety. Many of my clients are daughters of immigrants, mothers, and professionals who feel the pressure of being the responsible one in their family. They are often balancing cultural expectations, extended family dynamics, and the emotional impact of childhood experiences while trying to parent differently than they were parented. I provide therapy in both English and Spanish. My approach is attachment-focused and trauma-informed, helping you understand how early family patterns affect your relationships, boundaries, and parenting today. I also work with divorced or separated parents who want to reduce conflict and build a healthier co-parenting relationship.
